In this blog I shall start by breaking down and analysing the musical elements I noticed in the raves I was going to. For one of these elements, I have found no academic discussion whatsoever, so this could be a 'you heard it here first' blog. From this discovery, I shall go on to argue that music can be consumed principally in a cerebral or somatic way and the implications of this. Using these discoveries, I will show you how I have put on experimental choral concerts, and what I learned from them.
